When Gavin graduated from college, he moved to Dallas and was accepted into the acclaimed KD Studio Actors Conservatory. Gavin has acted in 33
productions, with major roles in 29. Two of his powerful drunk driving prevention TV commercials -- which he wrote, produced and starred in -- earned American Advertising Awards.
His 2004 short film
PARALYZED AT 17 -- which he wrote, produced, directed, edited and starred in -- won the Documentary Semi-Finalist Award at the Action/Cut Short Film Competition in Hollywood.
In 2006 Gavin directed, produced and edited the feature documentary
HURRICANE KATRINA THROUGH THE EYES OF THE CHILDREN, and that same year he wrote, produced, directed, edited and starred in the narrative feature film
FALSE HOPE, which gives hope and restores faith to those who have suffered a terrible tragedy like losing a child. Gavin is currently casting his next feature film,
THE BEST DAY OF MY LIFE.
